Terms and conditions

Read these terms alongside the buyer and organiser terms that apply to your role.

1. Future paid plans

Recurring subscriptions are not currently offered. If we offer a paid plan, the offer will state its price, billing interval, renewal, any trial and how to cancel before you subscribe. Any trial exists only where expressly offered.

Cancellation stops future renewals under the arrangements shown for your plan. Access through the paid period and any refund eligibility follow the terms shown before purchase, alongside statutory rights. Contact support for a billing error or a service that does not meet its description. Policy updates do not retrospectively remove rights for an existing purchase.

2. What MyGroupOrders is

MyGroupOrders is a platform where independent group order managers (GOMs) run pre-orders for K-pop merchandise and buyers in the UK or EEA join them. When you join a group order you are placing a pre-order with the GOM through us. We provide the tools, take payment on the GOM’s behalf where the GOM has enabled online payments, and keep a record of what was ordered, paid and sent.

3. Pre-orders take time

Group orders close on a deadline, then the GOM buys the stock, waits for it to arrive from the supplier, sorts it and posts it to you. This often takes several weeks and can take a few months. Every group order page shows where things are. The dates shown are estimates from the GOM, not guarantees.

4. Joining and changing your order

You can change or withdraw your order until the deadline. After the deadline your order is a commitment: the GOM buys stock based on it, so cancellation after that point requires the GOM’s agreement, subject to your statutory cancellation and consumer rights.

5. Paying

What you owe is listed on your home screen with a reference. You pay through the site using methods Stripe supports for your location and the order currency. Pay by Bank is recommended for eligible UK buyers, and card remains available. Pay by the due date shown. If you do not, the GOM may release your items to someone else or cancel your order.

Payments made through the site go to MyGroupOrders first and are passed on to the GOM. Your card or bank statement will show MyGroupOrders. The price you see already includes our platform fee; we do not add anything at checkout.

6. Refunds

  • If the GOM cancels a group order, every payment made through the site is refunded in full to the account or card you paid with, automatically. Refund timing depends on Stripe and your bank, subject to applicable legal deadlines.
  • Shipping costs, customs and postage that the GOM has already spent on your behalf may affect a discretionary cancellation request, but cannot override a refund required by law.
  • If an item arrives damaged or is missing, tell the GOM through the group order page within seven days of delivery, with a photo if available. This helps investigation and does not limit your statutory rights. Use “Something’s wrong” when confirming receipt so there is a record.

7. Disputes and chargebacks

Please talk to the GOM, and to us, if possible before asking your bank or card provider to reverse a payment. A pre-order that is still in transit is not a missing item. If you raise a chargeback for an order that the records show was delivered or is still on its way, we will provide the bank with those records. We may investigate misuse, but making a legitimate dispute does not by itself justify account closure. Bank-transfer payments through Pay by Bank are confirmed by you in your banking app and are refunded through us, not through a chargeback.

8. Delivery

Your delivery address is shared only with the GOM who is posting to you, at the moment they pack your parcel. Check it is correct before choosing “Ship now”. Once a parcel is handed to the carrier, delivery times are the carrier’s. Tell the GOM if a tracked parcel does not arrive.

9. Your account and data

We store your email, display name, orders, payments and delivery address to run the service. GOMs see your display name, your contact handle if you add one, what you ordered, and your address when they pack for you. We do not sell your data. The privacy notice explains what is kept, for how long, and how to download a copy or delete your account.

10. Changes

When these terms change in a way that matters, we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you join a group order. The version you accepted is recorded against your account.
